🚠 Olympos Teleferik: Aerial Tramway, Hiking, Climbing, Paragliding, and Dining for a Day Filled with Fun. Our aerial tramway is located in the center of Beydağları Coastal National Park at the summit of Tahtalı Mountain, 2,365 m high.
🗺 Olympos Cable Car is the only destination for those who want to hike on numerous trails and climbing routes, take breathtaking paragliding flights, eat delicious meals, or relax in the beauty of the park.
🚡 Cable Car Travel: Our journey starts with boarding the panoramic cabin, which can accommodate a maximum of 80 people and is equipped with large windows. The adventure lasts about 10 minutes, taking us from the lower station at 726 m above sea level to the summit station at 2,365 m above sea level. In the meantime, we pass over rope poles, each about 55–60 m high.
🌲 The altitude at which the tree cover ends and the pure limestone surface of the mountain begins is around 1,900 m above sea level in Tahtalı Mountain. The structure of the mountain mass, increasingly visible, allows you to read its geological history. The vertical vein structure of the mountain rocks in many places provides clues about the formation of this magnificent landscape. Over millions of years, sediments from the Tethys Sea have turned into limestone, and continental plate pressures caused the ground to fold vertically.
🏗 The very distinctive foot foundations of the top rope mast are firmly embedded deep into the rock. These strong bases, reinforced with steel and made of high-strength concrete, are also installed on the other masts. The length of the rope between the third and fourth pylons crosses a steep ravine about 1,600 m wide and 300 m deep.
